 Re: Led Light Bar
Depends what size you want. Go to Amazon and search led light bar. Lots of people on here have ones in the 100-150 range. I have a higher end ridgid bar. Just depends what you want to spend.

 Re: Led Light Bar
I bought a 21" spot/flood combo bar for $80 off ebay. Had it over a year and a half and zero issues so far. It's plenty brought enough and seems to be built tough

 Re: Led Light Bar
I just bought this bar for my prodigy....you will be shocked at how much light this thing puts out. I turned it on and literally lit up my entire cul-de-sac. Check out the reviews as well. It's very well built all metal. Solid as a rock. Plus it's a combo beam light for much better visibility. I would put this up against any other light its size. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HNN ... 10&sr=8-10

 Re: Led Light Bar
Southern lite LED is the way to go, had one sink to the bottom of a river on my boat and still worked fine after being down there for 6 months. Things are ROCK solid and the guys are great to deal with.

 Re: Led Light Bar
Mack's Prairie Wings sells one for around $125ish? Built well and has taken a few good hits.

 Re: Led Light Bar
I've recently come across the Southern Lite LED's also....what is the real difference between them and the Rigid's that are twice the cost???? Is the Rigid truly that superior?

 Re: Led Light Bar
Rigid put a bit more money into their reflector r&d. That's the major difference between a lot of these. Some use higher quality circuitry, but the reflector is the part most of us will ever notice. They should all outlast your use, as the led itself is rated for far more hours than you'll ever have it powered on. The circuitry wont, but should still survive many years. If a cheap one doesnt, then go pick up another and you still won't hit what you would've spent on the rigid. Not in any way saying the rigid aren't great, just can think of many other things to spend that money on. You can't out drive most of these spot flood combos if you get something big enough to start with (I've got a pair of 7.5" El cheapos, and they're brighter than necessary).

 Re: Led Light Bar
I put this one on my boat. It's only been on for a couple months but it is well built and plenty bright enough. I pulled the lense off and put a bead of RTV on it to help waterproof it a little more. It was $70 when I bought it and is now $50. At that price, I may buy 2 more and keep them in the shed in case mine goes out and still come out cheaper than a Rigid. http://www.amazon.com/Eyourlife-inch-Li ... B00D8RYGOI

 Led Light Bar
Do any of you have any experience with comparisons of the Rigid vs Southern Lite LED? Just trying to decide if the Rigid is that much better.....if it is, I don't mind spending the extra $$. I don't mind spending a few $$ for things that are of true quality, it's something that I want to be durable, bright, and not have issues with.

 Re: Led Light Bar
I have a 20" rigid single row and it does the job on my gtr boat. I also have a 10" double row on my airboat.
I bought based on the video on the rigid website. I'm sure the other ones work but after the abuse in that video I know mine will work.

 Re: Led Light Bar
I have an el cheapo from amazon. Paid like $50 for it. It works fine, MAYBE not as bright as a rigid, but plenty bright enough.

 Re: Led Light Bar
Just get a Rigid.. Great company that really take pride in their products. Sure the cheaper ones work but Rigid is superior in the reflector, and the circuitry and their cooling fins have a little different design. I run one on all my stuff and won't run another brand. I have everything from the 30 inch bar all the way to the deck lights on my bass boat. I haven't been able to break them so far and I'm extremely rough on things.. Plus their customer service is the best, I've had a lot of dealings with the promotional manager Brett and they're all good people.
