I recently purchased a Backwaters 26.5 HP SS and put it on the back of my 1542 Crestliner All welded Mod V. It moves well but i am looking at the Alweld 1648 straight flat mud hull. I would just like to run a little shallower where the boat i currently have drafts pretty good water. Anyone ever run this combo. Any help is appreciated in advance. Thanks!

I run a 1644 ALWELD w/23 swomp and could not be more satisfied. planes out at 1/4 throttle, runs super shallow, tops out at 23mph w/ me 260lbs and two labs in moderate current flow. I know this is not exactly the same as you are looking at but very similar. my hull is the standard flat not the mud hull.
