 How did you install your winch?I want to install a winch on the front of my jon boat I can get it welded or bolted. I would like to see your setup picture would be great. I do not have a welded boat, Its a tracker topper so I will have to reinforce it somehow. Thanks

Re: How did you install your winch? I have a short chain I loop through a hole in the winch plate and the spud hole.

Re: How did you install your winch? X3 I found a thread on here where a guy welded a tab to the winch plate. I haven't had to use my winch yet, been able to get out and push! If and when I have to use it, I will chain it to the handles on my bow and transom. I think it should hold; they look like good welds.

Re: How did you install your winch? I mounted mine in the front hatch so it's always there when I need it.
