Post Bow light
Don't jump all over me about searching topics I tried and the search section is very non user friendly (imo) I have an LED light bar now but on foggy rainy mornings the LED is distorted into the mess and I want to put some sort of white flood lights on the bow with my led so looking for input on type/style & brand(s) that are durable and affordable. Links to other topics are appreciated as well as input too. Thanks

Buy an amber lens cover. White flood lights aren't going to help you either because the white gets absorbed into the surroundings. Amber cuts through fog and rain.

I did the Amber tail light tape over mine and it helps considerably.

How does the tape affect it when there is no fog or mist does it hinder the light I'm running a very stumpy area with lots of tight channels filled with lilies and cypress Sometimes I need as much light as I can get

Different brands have different amount of light diffusion and light transfer. Look up a few different brands of tape. Lens cover would be your best bet though since its removable.

The amber tape changes the color, it might not be as blinding as it was before but it makes the light more functional. Still brighter than a flashlight. I run stumps and rocks and on a foggy morning that white light made the light bar useless. I typically don't run it unless I have to though. I see a lot of these boats lit up like a space station.

The tape comes off pretty easily too. If you can't find a cover, it would be pretty easy and inexpensive to make a cover out of the tape and a thin piece of plexiglass from lowes/HD.

Has anybody tried putting the tape in the very center of light only?
