You should go back and look before your time here the problems people had with warranty claims with other brands.

I have no doubt with people's issues back then. But taking someone's word for something, when I've experienced completely different has created doubt that gt is any better. They do have the brigade, and I say to each their own. I say roll with whatever you want, but that lifetime warranty doesn't mean anything more to me than a politician saying they have my best interest in mind. After my experience with them, I won't buy a new anything from gt expecting warranty coverage, and you won't from the other two. Do your thing, dude.

Btw, while I don't remember every word that I've read, I have seen nearly every post that exists on this site. Before ever posting my first time, I went through most of the threads. And I saw the complaints, but also saw how strong the kool-aid was for some.

I'm going to call bs on that comment about the prodigy being a wet ride. My 1748 v-rake out of all the boats I run with is the driest running boat out of the group and we run them in some of the roughest conditions you will find anywhere. I have had mine in ruff conditions u shouldn't have a shallow running boat in, yes I got wet but not near as wet, or as much water in the boat as the excel that was running with me. Also as for turning they all have some slide to them but when weight is distributed correctly in my boat it will run the shallow sloughs with ease.

I didn't read through all of the posts but just a few on the first page. I bought an 1854 from him in sept. I went back and fourth with Chad over period of 6 months or so, answering many questions and throwing me about 20 different quotes. Guy is a class act, but it seemed to me with the popularity of them now, they were growing faster than they could handle. Sometimes it would take a little while to hear back. Did that bother me? Not really. There were quite a few upgrades he did on my rig at no extra cost, just because he wanted to send out a better boat. There have been a few things since I've got the boat, that I personally have destroyed, that he has replaced at no cost to me, even after I insisted on paying for it. I put that boat through hell this year, 130 hours on the motor in a 2 month period. Hunted over 70 days with it and I am not easy on my stuff. Other than the paint rubbing off of the floor, which I regret not putting down turf when I got it. Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with the rig

I am hard on my boat, but that's what I'm saying was that all that happened this year was I broke my light. But it was my fault, and Prodigy still replaced it for free. Y'all down south don't have to bust through 2-3 inches of clear ice routinely throughout the season...

No down south we have stumps waiting like an inch below the surface to make the bottom of our boats look like a Ruffles potato chip lol

Shit we used ice like that to clean the barnacles off the hull of the 47s. Ice breaks old cypress don't budge much

There's plenty of stumps on the Mississippi river. Most places we hunt are old pastures that were flooded when they built the dams. My boat has seen plenty of stumps.

ive only ran ice one time in a riveted boat. Luckily I didn't have navigation lights on that boat, may have broke if I did.

How would you know Jake, I seen that boat on the water once this year haha. We didn't have ice during duck season, but we sure did for late season geese

Wow you guys need a life. My boat sees more in one season than all you internet badasses see in 5. My point was that all that happened to my rig after 75 plus days of hunting this year was I broke my nav light twice, which was my fault, at which Chad was super cool enough to replace, at no cost to me. So in other words I'll sum it up for you slow people. the boat held up awesome, and what I did break, as little and stupid as it was, Chad stood behind. Great boat, great guy, period.

I have pretty thick skin, but was just trying to give Chad some props.... This rig was bran new mid sept. Now has over 130 hours. Between hunting fishing and trapping, usually close to 200 hours/year.Keep n mind there's ice up here a good 3 to 4 months during the real cold months
