Post DIY spud pole idea
Who built there own spud poles? Thinking about using heavy wall stainless conduit and getting some pointed tips and top handles made. Anyone made there own or know of where I can get some poles at a very decent price.

Do you not think stainless would be too heavy?

I used this company for handles, 3/4" rod, and stainless tip. Very reasonable.

I've just been po'boyin it and using a stick or two of 3/4 emt left over from my blind, just stabbing it and slipping a loop of rope over it. Not the prettiest, but it works and hard to beat the price.
