 Re: New GT 2 blade
Actually I have a slightly used big blade getting tweaked. Up 1.5" in pitch and a more cup added..... I left the GT 2blade alone for now. I'm going to get some cup added to it, but I think it might be my hunt season prop for heavy loads.

 Re: New GT 2 blade
I had the new 3 blade on a 18x52 Martinez built boat and I had a guy come flying by me with the same set up, except his had a 3/16 bottom, but the polished 2 blade powertech cp-19 10P prop. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one?

 Re: New GT 2 blade
What do I need to do to make a post on here? I have replied to this thread and made a new thread and nothing shows up.

 Re: New GT 2 blade
Its there now. More than likely if someone blew past you with the same boat but a heavier bottom he probably had motor work done to. A different prop isn't going to make a dead obvious difference in top end performance

 Re: New GT 2 blade
Stock it ran up to 4600 on my rig but sucked out the hole.. I added a some cup after it had some light wear. And it was perfect for a stock motor. It ran a solid 29-30 light and pushed a load well.

 Re: New GT 2 blade
So reading thru this, the consensus is that the Mud Buddy Big Blade is the best performer for a stock GTR37? I have the original GT 3 blade that came with my motor and if I can reduce some of the tiller torque and only give up 1-2 mph in the process I'm all for it.
But, I also do more fishing from my boat than sticking it in the mud.

 Re: New GT 2 blade
I just ran an old stock gt 2 blade, the polished powertech 10 pitch and I ran 29 with me, the wife, and about 60lbs of jug lines. I have a 37 with voodoo, turning about 4500 rpm

 Re: New GT 2 blade
Called Gator Tail monday an placed the order for a new 2 blade prop and it just got here. BIG ASS PROP. Got to love Gator tail service btw! Going to put this prop on my 1650 gator trax w/ GTR 37 EFI stock. My three blade from GT would just bog down in reverse so hoping this will help. Will post information on it tonight.

 Re: New GT 2 blade
Running the boat now in deep water at 4100-4200 rpm boat runs 26-27. Shallow it's about 28-29 same rpms as deep. In reverse the prop cuts so much better than the 3 blade. Cuts pads like butter but in thick mats it's a lot better than 3 blade in the sense it doesn't get bogged down.

 Re: New GT 2 blade
I picked one up a week ago this past Friday, left the next day for Jamaica and just got back last night. I'm chomping at the bit for this rain to let up to go try it.
