Unless you dropped it from a damn helicopter, there's nothing you can hit to concave the entire hull. That's why I was curious about a straight edge from side to side as well. I think it bowed the bottom when they put the sides on, like the sides wanted to be more vertical but was forced outward putting leverage on the bottom. They need to make it right, if anything a very slight convex would be better than what you have. Good luck man, hope it turns out good, like you said, it's been messed up since day one.

Looks like your trailer has 2 bunks. Can you add 2 more? Most all mud boat trailers I have seen have 4 and they stick out past the boat like the pic above. Not saying this is your problem but if they fix your boat it could be an issue later.

No I didn't mention the trailer set up and the proof is in my post dates. I picked up the boat at the end or Oct and was posting about performance issues 3ish days later. And I've been having talking with guys like "Russ" for months about my issues. I've got no reason to lie about it not that soon after i bought the boat first off and second I really do like my boat but I want it to preform the way it should and especially with the way I run the boat. My buddy has a gator tail 1754 and he's hit stuff so hard it's literally knocked him on the floor with no hull problems on that boat. I expect the same quality if I'm spending the same $$

Id say the trailer was a small portion of the problem, but that hull was not flat right from the builder. Interested in seeing what they have to say and if they fix THEIR problem.

They won't have to worry about being slammed if they keep up this wonderful customer service.

I may have missed it, and maybe some of you guys already know, but he hasn't even said who built the boat.

Nothing wrong with saying who built it either way.

If it turns out good, then great publicity for the builder.

If it doesn't, then they deserve people knowing that AND you alert others to a potential problem.

All that as long as you are being honest about what is going on.

The thread is useless without that info.

Seems like being slammed isn't much of a good reason when a boat you built has come back due to problems the customer didn't cause with his use. Very good reason to figure out the solution quickly and let the customer know what's wrong and your plan to fix it. If the time to correct the issue is slow due to being slammed, at least the customer knows it's getting your attention.
