 beavertail seal replacement

Post beavertail seal replacement
Need to replace the upper seal on this aluminum frame longtail I've been working on .anyone know best eay to get to the seal? is the cap threaded on or press fit if threaded which I think it is is it a right or left hand thread ??? Can ya get it off with a strap wrench or am I gonna need heat and a pipe wrench thanks for any help :)

umahunter, according to the Beavertail maintenance pdf I read online, it says the bottom cap is reverse threaded (turn clockwise to loosen?) so I assume the top cap is similarly attached. I believe you have to undo the shaft to replace the upper seals- I had to do this on both my GD and MB longtails. I would call Beavertail just to make sure!
