Just a hint... Trout & Reds have been holding over mud & shell. I'd drift N. Deer Island, Wade Confederates then go ride... Corky's have been producing a good bite. Let me know if there is any good marsh North of ICW I've run all over the place in West Bay just haven't been up into Jones & those Bayous North of there.

i might come out, i will let you know, kind of sounds fun.

I'm still planning on going Saturday. I'm gonna throw a couple of touts in some secret spots. Lol
thanks for the Tips Coe, if i cant find any reds or decent mud in Lake Hitchcock, I'll hit up Greens, then Wade the bay shore of the ICW on some grass flats if the water isn't muddy.

Ohh and Coe - I've grown up fishing the marshes on this side of the bay . There is tons of good marsh to ride in....and catch a few fish.

Hey, yall need to be careful crossing the marsh grass like that. I'm not trying to start any BS but I do own & operate a fishing website that supports conservation of West Bay and just don't want a bad rap to be handed out on MM's in the area. TXSHOCKWAVE & I are out there almost daily.

You do realize all of that marsh was rebuilt by the Galveston bay foundation. and volunteers who planted that sea grass. I dont care if you want to till the whole bottom but dam keep off the grass. Last thing i need is some whacked out hippie kayaking bitching me out cuz he saw a motor like mine tearing up the grass thinking that it was me.
