 Gator Trax 1862 questions?
Ok guys long time reader haven't really posted much on MMT. Just curious I have a 2010 PD36 stage 1 and am looking at a gator Trax 1862. Is that too much boat to push with my motor?. I have tried searching but haven't really found what I'm looking for.

Won't break speed records, but would push it fine.

Just looking to get 3-4 guys to the blind. Maybe 24-25 mph if I'm lucky?

Should be close to that. You or someone else can correct me as I'm likely wrong, but that should be a gen 2? Should be similar enough to an efi pd with the new lower. Somewhere around 20 with 4 and gear, 24+ with 3, maybe 28 or so best speeds solo or with 2. It'll probably carry a load better than I'm suggesting above, but set expectations low, then you'll be happy lol

Not going to work very well. I have a 36pd on a 1662(was a 3 man gatothide). It's taken efi heads and prop work to get 3 guys and a hunting load on plane. It will now but only runs about 20mph...
Give Kent at Gator Trax a call. He'll probably tell you he wouldn't sell you that combo even if you wanted it....

How thick is the hull? It's probably a heavier boat so I would think a stock motor you will probably be 25 solo. It should carry a load pretty good being so wide but that is an awefull big boat for a stock 37. My stock 37 HDR on a 1854 runs 27-28 solo 22 with three people of that helps.

The guy that is selling it was wrong. It's a 1854.. Not sure if we was measuring to the outside of the chine or what. But it clearly states on the side of the boat 1854
