Re: Gd 25 hp The 9x6, 9x7 are pretty much close to what that engine runs best with if you're talking longtail.

Re: Gd 25 hp Im running a 25 kohler gdlt on a 14ft hull,9x6 wheel is just right for my use.
Ive even seen a few run 9x5.....depends on the load i guess.
I can assume if you were trying to surface drive a long tail,a 10x6 may work out.
But will it fit.....id have to go pull a measurment.
(Not saying you can surface drive a long tail effectivly)
