 Banded Axe
Well I haven't had a chance to add any pictures of the new Banded Axe Blind I installed on my 1748 CC ProDrive until now. It was a nightmare to install by myself but I got it accomplished. To mount the blind on this boat I had to fabricate a piece of aluminum to use for the rear mounting brackets since the boat is much wider than the actual blind frame. I took a 58"(?)x6" piece of aluminum and added a 1" 90 for strength. This piece was then fastened to the T-rail blind brackets so I would have a "frame" for the blind frame to set on in the rear. In front I was able to just use the T-rail blind brackets.
I don't have any pictures of the finished product but figured I would show some of the pictures of the process. I have added more raffia grass and trimmed it to be flush with the water line. I also had to remove some of the zip ties from the camo netting so I could get the front and back deck portions to drape so It wouldn't look so square. And while I was at it, I decided to add some lights. All in all, I am very pleased with the finished product.

 Re: Banded Axe
If you haven't already, I would recommend cutting your raffia off just above the water line. I've had it wrapped in my prop shaft and have also found it on my trailer axle inner seal.

 Re: Banded Axe
I did that as soon as I put it in the water. I had it hanging way too low.
