 Hydroturff "b stock"?
Has anyone ordered "b stock" hydro turff and had any problems with it? Or is it worth it to just spend the extra money and get the normal priced one? Its a $100 difference to do whole boat with b stock vs normal

B stock works fine and last just as long as the other. Some imperfections may be noticeable, but have no effect. Unless your one of the GQ hunters, who cares once it's bloodied up.

That's what I've got in my boat, it's been in since I bought it and held up great so far. I pressure wash it on a regular basis.

 Re: Hydroturff "b stock"?
No personal experience but Ive heard of holes in it, sometimes it's thicker and softer than regular which I wouldn't mind. Also have heard of it being just as nice as the regular stuff,For $100 if you're trying to make it look real nice I probly wouldn't gamble on it.

Mine looked great but has some blue color that ran over the edges. I trimmed it all off and didn't loose much turf. Definitely be aware that there is a possibility for defects. I've seen several boats with it and never experienced any holes though.

 Re: Hydroturff "b stock"?
Thanks, ill probably just go with it. Its a duck boat...as long as it comes in a full sheet and isn't ragged out straight out the box it'll be fine for me.

Only time I have bought hydro-truf, I bought "B" stock with the PSA. I didn't see a reason to buy the higher priced sheets.

 Re: Hydroturff "b stock"?
Just get a can of contact cement and a few old paint brushes. The spray glue didn't do too well for me.

 Re: Hydroturff "b stock"?
They have good spray glue, it's actually contact cement, but it's like $18 a can and you're gonna use a lot of it. Seems pretty silly to me. Just buy a gallon of liquid for about the same price as a spray can, and you'll have leftovers. Fuck paying whatever ridiculous price they charge for the 3m backing, especially when you still have to spend more money to get the corners to stay down.

 Re: Hydroturff "b stock"?
Used the B stock and closeout sheets also, good to save $. If anyone complains about the imperfections don't let them in the boat!
