 Sport v or hdr?
I'm looking at getting a bigger surface drive for my new boat. I have a 1648 cottonmouth. I'm just wondering if anyone has ran both and could tell me some pros and cons of each.

 Re: Sport v or hdr?
I have a Sport H, which has many similarities to the Sport V. I'll tell you one big difference is the weight of these gear drive motors. My sport H weighs 360 lbs without fluid. I've never seen any official weight given for the Sport V, but it has to be very close to the Sport H. Glen says the HDR weighs 285, so that would make the Sport V about 75 pounds heavier than the HDR. 360 lbs is alot of weight to put on a 1648.
