Got my turf ordered. Just went straight through hydro turf. 3 big sheets to do my 1848. I'm not doing the hunt deck just floor and the standard 4ft front deck. Got the swamp camo grooved cut. Next will be a trolling motor with the removable bracket. Only taken me 3 years to get to this stuff done but I'm pretty pumped. Will be fishing comfortably this summer!

That's a good way to do it. Then you don't suffer one big hemorrhage in your checkbook.

I'm thinking of taking the foam floor out of mine and putting in turf.

I'll probably wait until it's time to repaint the boat though.

Mine is scratched to shit too pretty much all over from the abuse. I've been trying to find a rattle can that will match the paint to do some touch up spots. No luck on a close match yet

Forget keeping it gator tail brown. When I repaint it's going to be a standard spray paint Camo brown with no clear coat on it. It will all scratch to shit, and it would be real nice to be able to hit it with a spray can.

I mean hell, it's never gonna look that nice considering what it gets used for.
