Post New guy looking for insight on boat
New to the forums and got the bug to hunt alot more this past season. Will be hunting public in east texas and maybe some coast. Will also use the boat for shallow fishing as well and avoid big water when i can. Main use will be for hunting and scouting

Im looking at a older boat for sale and am looking for some insight on pros and cons of the boat, plus any known problems or issues i should look for when i go to look at it.

Looks like a good rig, keep in mind though alot of East Tx public land is restricted to 25hp, depending on wjat part of East Tx you're talking about

I think that boat was sold by a member here a couple years ago.

Being new to mud motors and aluminum boats in general, is there anything specific to look for besides holes or leaks lol.

If your talking about any of the east tx lakes theres no restrictions but all the NWR's are restricted to 25hp and a 9" prop.

Just make sure the motor runs and sounds healthy and look at the bottom for hooks (long longitudinal dents) at the transomm. Test drive if you can
