I just picked up my first mud boat. Its a 17x54 gator tracks with 36 mudbuddy. Im wanting to put a blind on it and im concerned with how the blind will mount on the boat. The boat has a gun box down one side and another box on the other side. The boat is a modfied V with a deck on the front. Since the boat curves towards the front of the boat, Im wondering which blinds others have used and how they have mounted them on these types of boats. I want to still be able to open all the storage boxes. Thanks in advance.

I have the same boat. I built mine out of 3/4" emt (with 1/2 EMT riveted inside the long horizontal runs). I posted pics on here at some point.

It is somewhat of a pain to get at the gun boxes when the blind is down.

check youtube, scissor type works good on my boat. built out of 1/2 conduit, travels well and does get in the way.

I basically have the same layout but just one gun box on my Gator Trax. I have a MudBuddy Shaggy blind on mine and it works great and I can easily get into the box. I altered it some so it can be quickly removed but if you need specifics I'd be glad to share. Just PM me if you want.
