Re: Pro drive boat or Go devil? Big waves will definitely fuck up a hull. We had an old legend craft that the hole rake caved in running across tawakoni. One trip. Didn't crack anything, but I'm sure a few more beatings like that eventually would have.

Re: Pro drive boat or Go devil? The way these flat boats slap the water, I wouldn't put it past possibility. My brothers first alumacraft bass boat broke right at the point in the front three times. They eventually replaced the hull when it broke again. He runs Rayburn and other big water in it. I'd be willing to bet that some of my floor rivets are gone because of some big waves. It happens. These boats are tough, but by no means Indestructable.

Re: Pro drive boat or Go devil? I agree that a continuous beating everyday on big water it could happen. The only big water here I run on is the Mississippi and that is just crossing the main channel. We hunt divers out of my buddies 20' sea ark so I don't have to worry much about huge waves. Besides that, if I feel the water is too rough I don't go!! Call me what you want but my life is worth more than a few ducks!!
