Post Bouncing boat
Have a 2010 gatortail boat and motor, boat is 16x54 gator hull, my boat has always bounced when trimed pretty close to all up and trimmed all the way up, but that's when I see my best speed before it starts bouncing, now with 1 person on the front deck it runs great and doesn't bounce and I can run it trimmed all the way up. The old owner always ran with the motor in the bottom pin hole. And when I received the boat I moved it too the middle hole cause I was seeing better speed. Like I said with 1 person on the front deck on the front deck it runs great but just me i bounce too much, I was wondering what these wedges welded on the bottom were for and if I should cut them off cause that's what's causing the problem ? Or cut these off and get a welder to put a bead on the bottom or weld some trim tabs ?

It won't let me post a picture with it but it's 2 4x4 wedges welded onto the bottom

The wedges are probably there to help it not bounce as much.

You should put your gas tank and battery up front.

Well damn.
With the speeds you're getting, that boat is just too short.

3 options:

1. Always run with another person.

2. Weld some trim tabs.

3. Get an 18' boat
