I’ve got a gx390 Honda & have been looking for a plastic gas tank or some kind of sealed gas cap to prevent gas from spilling out when trailering. Any body got any ideas? Is my gas cap just bad or the rubber o-ring worn out?

You could set it to have a remote fuel tank, or just buy another gas cap off of Amazon or Partstree. It should seal it, so it may be faulty if it’s sloshing out.

What’s the best way to go about adding remote fuel? Pulse or electric fuel pump for such a little motor?

I'd go electric, but that's just because I've never had an issue out of mine.

I like the facet posi flow, lowest psi they offer. 1-4 psi, and you don't need a high flow version, either. I dont remember the model number. You can find it on their website and get wherever you want. Put the tank wherever it's most out of your way. That's a small rig, space matters. Dont want fuel line and a tank where you want to put your feet.

Thanks for the advice Russ. Now, just gotta rebuild the whole bottom end minus a prop, & I’ll be ready for the year.
