Did anyone notice on the prodrive website, the video showing you how to use the manual FPR, there is a three blade prop on that motor.

It just caught my attention.

There is a 3 blade for the 27hp!!

They been having them for the 27. Waiting on the 36 prop. I want to try one.

Good eye BJ! I've looked at that video before and never noticed it.

I guess that was a motor/blade combo involving a little R&D reconaissance.

Didnt know they made one at all. I just wondering if anyone else had ever seen it.

I saw it on a boat on a 27hp when I went to pick up my rig. I asked about it and was told that it was the same prop that GD runs on their 35hp. Said that it worked pretty well, so I in turn asked when would one be available for the 36PD. The response was, "Not for at least another year."

That was in March of '09!!!

i have one on my 32, they have been having them for awhile. the 36 have too much torque and the prop can't handle it. I am very impressed with it, speed picked up and load cap is good too.

i noticed a difference but not worth going back in my books. i was running it @ muddi gras. in the mud it does not bite as much but i was in grass and it was pushing my out great.

i saw one on a guys 36 PD back in december where i hunt at. he's a local PD dealer so i asked him how it ran and he's said its incredible and way better than a 2 blade.

but i also didnt know that PD how came out with a 3 blade? i know he was a dealer so he may just be feeding me a load of bull about the performance of the 3 blade.

a bit more than the 2 blade.

My new 09, 27 HP came with a 3 blade prop. It works good but I've got nothing to compare it to so I can't say if it's better or not.

My question is why is a GTR guy looking at a PD website?
