 1854 Uncle-J 35 mudbuddy (updated)
Well i finally got it all painted up and got around to doing a review for it.
MM Brand: Mudbuddy Horsepower: 35 (Single mikuni, IM heads, dual pipes) Boat Brand: Uncle-J Boat Size: 1854, 21 inch sides, tall transom, 3/16 bottom and everything else is 1/8. The floor is .90 After Mods: Just me in the boat 29.3. One other person 28.5, third person 27.5. All deep water. 2 batteries, 10 gal of gas
I have only had a chance to run it in deep water and It was running right at 27 mph with me and one other guy so a total of 400lbs plus 6 gallons of gas, and 1 battery. With just me in the boat it runs right at 28. I am very happy with the boat and have nothing but good things to say about Jason and his crew. He is very easy to work with and I would recommend him to anyone looking to have a boat built the way they want it. It says a lot about a person when they quote you a price and it turns out to be a little cheaper than the original quote in the end.
I am expecting to get a little more speed once i get a new prop before the season starts. I have a hair more than 1/4 inch worn off when i got these speeds. I am also planning on either getting a single mikuni or do my heads so hopefully whatever i decide to do will bump it up to around 30 mph.
