 Calens cam vs. bps cam Anybody running calens cam? Is there any thing to worry about it since they are welded up vs the bps cam? Bps cam are back ordered and can't find them anywhere.

I thought you had to be special to buy stuff from him these days...or at least since earlier this year when all that mess went down on here when a cam was installed wrong causing failure and the installer pointed his finger the wrong direction...

Re: Calens cam vs. bps cam Nothing wrong with a welded cam when done right. In many cases they are better and stronger on the lobe.

Re: Calens cam vs. bps cam I talked to him about a cam the other day and he told me he has a cam thats similar to the BPS cam and has had no issues with it what so ever

Re: Calens cam vs. bps cam Also if your geometry isn't correct you can put excess side load on the valve stem causing premature wear on the valve and valve guides.

Re: Calens cam vs. bps cam OKayy, I was wondering about the balance of the flywheel to the crank. So you put the coils in jest the right spot to keep it balanced right?
