 Re: Hull weights
Depends on the materials used & who built it.

 Re: Hull weights
.125 5052 aluminum. Pro-Drive, Gatortail, Phowler. Just the hull, no boxes, etc.
I just want a ballpark range of weights. Thanks in advance.

 Re: Hull weights
No boxes, seats, flotation. Just open front deck & floor. Roughly 400 would be my guess.

 Re: Hull weights
Go Devil post the weight of their boats on their site. This can get you in the ball park.

 Re: Hull weights
I was told my Phowler 1848 hull weighed 580#. The only option I have is a gun box. Does 580 lbs seem heavy for a typical mud rig?

 Re: Hull weights
I would say no. Most mud boats use thicker and sometimes a stronger aluminum for the added wear and tear than a standard mass produced boat. Gator Trax, for example uses .125" 5086 aluminum on the bottom while a Lowe would have .100" on a Roughneck and only .073 (5052 aluminum) on a standard jon.
