 3 blade gdsd prop? It's about time for a new prop on my 23.called go devil and they said the new motors come with a 3 blade and if you put a 2 blade on it will void the warranty. They also said I will need to re gear my lower unit to run it. So is it worth the all the extra money to redo it for the 3 blade or just go back with a 2 blade? They said they would do it for like 800$ I'm thinking unless there is a big mph gain screw that noise

3 blade gdsd prop? I'm guessing that they want you to regear that 23 cuz it don't have the ass to turn that 3 blade. I ran the 3 blade when I had my 35 GDSD. It was nice, a lot less vibration than the 2 blade. Not sure of any speed difference. I'd probably buy a new 2 blade and some mods before I regeared for the 3 blade.

Re: 3 blade gdsd prop? 800 dollars?????? Seriously? That really doesn't sound right at all. Pulleys are cheap. Hell the whole shaft unit is 100 bucks. What all does that include? Prop, pulleys, new shaft??? Still doesn't add up.

3 blade gdsd prop? 450$ for parts and 65$ an hour so they said it would take no more than 2 hours
