 Re: will not turn over
The yellow wire that goes to the selenoid, make sure you don't have a loose connection. or charge the battery or check the rev limiter or the main fuse.

Damn James, you got luck like me!!!!
I wish I could be more help. I was gonna suggest clutch engaged or dead battery, but it sounds like you got that covered.
Call Mike or Robert. I'm sure they can help ya. Good luck and let us know how she runs!

 Re: will not turn over
Wasn't there a post about a month ago regarding a fuse somewhere in the ignition system? I thought I remember Bayouboy saying something about it.
The problem is probably in your control box somewhere. Sometimes the spade connectors come loose due to vibration or the wire backs out of the connector. Take a good look at the connectors because sometimes they look good but the wire might be corroded or barely connected. The only other thing I can think of would be the ignition switch but a tester could rule that out.
I went online and found a wiring diagram for the ignition switch which helped a lot. I think it is just an Evinrude/OMC outboard ignition (if I remember correctly). You should be able to find the diagram by matching up the spade configuration on the back of the switch with the ones on the uinternet. I should have saved it, but of course I didn't.
This would also be a good time to clean all of your connections and coat with dialectric grease and/or spray with Corrosion X. Including the ignition side of the soleniod stud and possibly the starter side. Be careful with the starter side because it is just an exposed wire going from the soleniod to the starter. It's hard to clean and can't be replaced if broken but if you run in salt a lot, it will corrode.
