Post PRODIGY OWNERS HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm trying to get a boat loan on a prodigy, but can't get a single bank to touch it because they can't find a NADA value on it. Who are some of the banks that yall used. Im in Alabama, but will use any bank that will take this. Thanks.

Credit union is the only way to go.
If you have good credit they'll loan you whatever your quote from prodigy says.

I didn't get a loan for the whole amount but I could have.

Interest is around 5 -7 depending on credit

I've been to 2 different credit unions and they told me the quote will not work. Must have NADA value. Credit isn't a problem either, mine is great. I have Joseph at Prodigy trying to help me find someone. Been a huge pain.

Go about it from a different approach. It's a custom made boat so see if you can get a project loan(home improvement) or whatever different terminology you have.. I bank at the small town bank I live in and know the loan officer. They have a loan just simply labeled as a project loan. People use them for everything from restoring a car for profit to building a shop. Just gotta have a decent credit score

What about just a personal loan. Tell them how much you need and work from there. If credit is good they should have no problem.

Judging by your username you are maybe in Troy? I'm a loan officer at the bank in Brantley. Give me a call, maybe I can help. Stuart.

You can do a personal loan(if good credit) to start the boat. Once it's finished amd you get it titled you can move it to a boat loan. They have no collateral until it's titled.

when my bank told me they didnt want to do a loan. I told them I couldn't believe that with as much business as I do with them and they wouldn't do a loan that maybe it was time I close my accounts and find a new bank. They changed their tune pretty quick.
